Lucas-Milhaupt supplies a wide variety of brazing and soldering silver filler metals, gold filler metals, palladium, copper filler metals, nickel filler metals and aluminum based filler metals. Our comprehensive inventory of alloys and forms includes Handy One® family of silver and aluminum flux-cored brazing alloys and high-purity vacuum tube grade (VTG) alloys for critical joining applications.
Lucas Milhaupt carries pre-packaged brazing filler metals, fluxes, and solders, including Sil-Fos®, developed and patented by Handy & Harman in 1931, the original copper/phosphorous brazing alloy used by thousands of manufacturers and contractors.
Numerous formulations of flux are available for virtually any metal joining operations including Handy Flux®, the general purpose flux that has remained an industry standard for over 70 years. Fluxes for virtually every specialized application including formulations for high and low temperature applications, furnace and induction brazing, as well as those for automatic flux dispensers are available.
Brazing and soldering pastes incorporate filler metal, flux, and a binder in a one-step application process. Because pastes are readily applied, they lend themselves well to both manual and automated production operations. We offer several flux/binder systems for specific temperature ranges and brazing processes.
To eliminate the need for separate fluxing, these brazing materials are either cored or coated with a brazing flux. A variety of different filler metals and fluxes are available (silver braze alloys and aluminum braze alloys) depending upon your temperature requirements and materials to be joined. Handy One® flux cored materials are available with several different fluxes depending upon the material form, wire or preformed shape.
